Tanabata is one of Japan's most beautiful summer traditions;
a festival of wishes, love, and the stars.

Together, we will explore the legend of Orihime and Hikoboshi, discover how Tanabata is celebrated across Japan, and I will create your own wishes on an individual tanzaku!

The castle becomes a place to slow down, learn something new, and share a little hope beneath the stars.

New this year: Your tanzaku is now lurker-friendly! It will still be displayed on the website, but your name will be censored. In this year’s Google Form, you can also choose to have your tanzaku made off-stream instead of during the live event.

Our first stream will be on Sunday, the 5th July. We will start making the tanzaku of everyone who would like to see it being made live. The celebration of Tanabata is on the Tuesday, the 7th July!

Thank you for being here!

This website is and will be ad free to ensure a pleasant stay!
